The form gives the communications site manager a form-driven method of obtaining time-based traffic reports about system usage. Reports may be generated as required, covering attendant usage, channel utilization, system activity, data station usage, delay to dial tone, extension-to-extension calls, feature usage, and trunk utilization. In MiVoice Business 8.0 SP2 or later, you can use this form to enable the system to collect SIP trunk traffic data. To enable, activate a time slot. The system automatically collects the SIP trunk traffic data for the defined time slot. You can view the SIP trunk traffic data report through the SIP TRAFFIC maintenance commands.
Up to six different time slots may be defined.
Use this form when performing the following tasks:
If the start and stop time are blank while the time slot is active, an error message is displayed when the commit operation is attempted; in this case, the changes will not be committed.
No two traffic slot stops should be less than 5 minutes apart. This time is required for the system time to generate the previous report.
Making changes to the data in this form and recommitting interrupts a traffic report that is running.
When you activate a time slot, the system automatically starts to collect the SIP trunk traffic data for the defined time slot.
The Autoprint option does not apply to SIP trunk traffic data. To view SIP trunk traffic data, see SIP TRAFFIC.
The Maximum number of traffic files option does not apply for SIP trunk traffic data. By default, the system stores up to 24 records of SIP trunk traffic data.
